Did the Judge purposely stop a Perry Mason Moment in court today?

June 18, 2008
Double-murder trial of Neil Entwistle
Lillian & Rachel Souza Entwistle Murder

Larry James - PC Technician
Assistant District Attorney Daniel Bennett
Judge Diane Kottmyer

Selective clips from today's testimony revealing the internet keystrokes of Neil Entwistle between January 17 - 20, 2006. The tracking of the accused murderer during these days are critical. - the days that lead up to and including the date of the double homicide of his wife, Rachel Souza Entwistle, and his nine month baby, Lillian.
Neil Entwistle was searching for job posting sites, eBay / PayPal (where he had been running an internet scam operation), AdultFriendFinder, HalfPricedEscorts, BlondeBeauties - you get the picture. Specifically googled, "how to kill with a knife", "where to stab a body!, "knife in neck to kill" and "quick suicide methods". Finally a search to get out of Dodge quickly - Cheap Tickets to book his speedy one way return to the UK after the double homicide.

JMCO - I believe the judge purposely cut the questioning of the witness Larry Davis at that particular point - there must be a "gotcha" internet search to be in entered into evidence.

The Entwistle trial shows the key role that digital records play in law today. A voice signature can help preserve a digital record of an Internet search, an e-mail message or a web page. --Ben http://hack-igations.blogspot.com/2008/04/authenticating-web-record-legal.html

Ben - Thanks for stopping by. Perused your blog - ita that it is all about the digital footprint. In the Mark Jensen trial (WI), that is also on my RealityCanBeEvil YouTube vlog, it was all about the emails. Not too mention the 4800 jpgs of penises the defendant on his work PC... Just had to type that again. The emails between his 2nd wife Kelly prior to the murder established a great foundation for the motive for murder. Video in the future will be a critical tool - as there is now technology to allow real time video streaming on internet from cell phones. So think about it - you are witnessing a crime & you real time get it on the internet. Police officers will be able to real time transmit their car videos versus the delay that now occurs. Thanks again for stopping by. Best to Dallas.
